Flight Comfort is a free, no-account web application that helps passengers understand how an upcoming flight may feel. It combines public weather and aviation signals into a clear ride outlook while showing uncertainty and source limitations.

The result includes an experimental atmospheric movement outlook for departure, climb, cruise, descent, and arrival; route weather; airport conditions; public flight details; and operational context. The movement outlook uses cautious categories—few, some, or several indicators—instead of claiming a precise turbulence severity.
Route atmosphere
GFS wind changes, vertical motion, and convective signals sampled near the estimated route and time.
Official signals
International SIGMETs and recent pilot reports from the NOAA Aviation Weather Center are checked when available.
Airport weather
METAR observations and TAF forecasts describe conditions around departure and arrival.
Flight context
Schedule, route, aircraft, delays, and nearby airport movements are shown when public data is available.
Primary data sources
FlightAware AeroAPI for public flight and operational information.
NOAA Aviation Weather Center for METAR, TAF, international SIGMET, and PIREP data.
Open-Meteo GFS API for NOAA GFS atmospheric model fields along the route.
OurAirports for airport, runway, and elevation context.
