Will my flight be turbulent?
A flight can never be promised bump-free. But route weather, turbulence reports, and airport conditions can give you a useful idea of whether the journey is likely to feel calm, unsettled, or somewhere in between.
Check my flight forecastHow a flight comfort forecast works
Turbulence is influenced by changing air movement along the route. A useful estimate should look beyond a single weather icon. Flight Comfort compares several independent signals and explains how much confidence is reasonable at the time you check.
Route atmosphere
Wind, pressure, cloud, and changing conditions sampled along the expected route.
Airport weather
Departure and arrival observations that may affect the first and last part of the flight.
Operational activity
Delay and airport activity signals that help describe the wider travel experience.
Live flight details
The exact flight, schedule, route, and aircraft information when publicly available.
When should I check?
Check early for a first overview, then refresh during the 24 hours before departure. Forecasts often become more informative as current weather observations, pilot reports, and operational data become available.
If some signals are not available yet, Flight Comfort shows lower confidence instead of presenting an early estimate as certain.
